Do you live to eat or eat to live?
This weekend is all about PIZZA, COOKING CLASSES AND BEER LOVERS. We have just the events for you if you are more than a Netflix and chill type of person on weekends. There will be cooking classes, beer festivals, bottomless brunches, taste of Williamsburg and more. Scroll through and sign up on the app.
FRIDAY: MAKE PIZZA, DRINK (BOTTOMLESS) WINE
Tired of doing the same thing every Friday? Take on a new kind of challenge with friends or your date and learn how to make your very own authentic Neapolitan pizza.
A few days ago was #nationalbeerloversday so it's pretty important to continue the celebration into the weekend... Hit up IPA Fest to ensure a good time.
SATURDAY: IPA Fest at Brooklyn's EXPO Center.
Looking for something a little less drinking related? There are a bunch of cooking classes on the app - scope them out. One in particular will be pretty awesome. On Saturday there will be a market to table cooking class where you will learn to cook with creativity and spontaneity (and pick your own produce!). This is the perfect season to find all kinds of fresh ingredients and you will be able to pick it from the local Greenmarket at the Grand Army Plaza. There will be lots to choose from but the list includes late summer tomatoes, squash, hot peppers, celery, beets, and apples.
SATURDAY: MARKET TO TABLE COOKING CLASS
Filling up your calendar with food and drink related events is fun. It's the best way to explore different parts of your neighborhood, taste a few samples here and there and explore new spots you've never been before. NYC and Brooklyn have a whole lot to offer this weekend so start RSVPing and ping your friends your favorite eat & drink events.
On asembl, we've got you covered. Don't fear a messed up first date or lack of planning. There are events for all to enjoy. See you out there.
