Taylor Townsend is back in action against another (but much less dangerous) Romanian in Cirstea on Armstrong starting a few moments ago. We'd love to see her crash the net a bunch more today and pull out another win. Other than that, today's a bit thin on big women's names (though Wozniacki takes to Ashe at noon), so our pick for a bit later is to see American Kristie Ahn look to extend her all-time best Grand Slam result against Ostapenko on the Grandstand.
On the men's side, you might have heard of the headliner on Ashe at 1:15 p.m. but probably not his opponent Chung Hyeon. He got as high as #19 in the world last year, so he's a promising player at just 23. He's still screwed today. We'd be surprised if Nadal needs more than three easy sets to dispatch him.
If you don't have Ashe tickets, or if you're just hoping for some more competitive tennis, you can choose between what promises to be a tight serving competition between two giants in Isner vs. Cilic on the Grandstand or see whether Sasha Zverev can finally get off the court in fewer than five sets with a win.
