Hilarity at Home: asembl (not so) live #26
You need some hilarity at home.
Join us on Friday, May 22 at 9 o'clock (Eastern). It's online since we're prohibited from going out. We call it (not so) live. We've got Chase Bernstein, Gabby Bryan & Barbara Gray!
Here's the main page for the series where you can check out upcoming and past shows.
Or follow us on social media for the same:
Here's how it works:
- Hit the "Join the interactive show" button or the "Join the livestream on YouTube" button (though that's much less fun) below at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 22 to join. You can RSVP and add to your calendar here or on Facebook.
- Turn on your microphone and/or camera so we can hear everybody laugh and feel together (also: behave).
- Our amazing comedians do 10 minute sets each.
- You laugh a great deal.
- Donate. We're not putting up a paywall since we want everyone to easily join but we'd appreciate your donating $5 (or more!). Everybody's gigs went poof so a bit of cash would be highly appreciated.

Now, the comedians. First up is Gabby Bryan.
Gabby is a Brooklyn based comedian, actress, writer and producer. She produces and appears on "You Know What Dude Podcast" with Robert Kelly on the Laugh Button network and "Unabashed Podcast" on The Sound Pollination Network. Most recently, she could be seen in Dan Fogelman's feature film "Life Itself" which was a dead serious movie about death in which she did die! She has performed all over the world including The Comedy Cellar, Gotham, The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory Chicago, The Comedy Store London, Vermont Comedy Club, etc! Follow her on instagram and twitter at @gabbyisbryan for jokes and pics.
Next, Chase Bernstein.
Chase is a stand up comedian and writer residing in Los Angeles. She has performed stand up on Bill Burr Presents: The Ringers, on Comedy Central, A Little Late With Lilly Singh, and NBC's, Last Comic Standing. She also appears in TBS's, The Dress Up Gang. She has written for shows on Netflix, truTV, VH1 and Funny Or Die. She headlines all over the country, most recently at the New York Comedy Festival. She could go on but you're probably too impressed to keep reading.

And finally, Barbara Gray.
Barbara’s intense yet goofy stage presence combined with vulnerable and dark material have made her a staple of the Los Angeles alternative comedy scene.
Along with touring all over the country, Babs has made multiple visits to SF Sketchfest and the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, where her performance was deemed ‘funny as get-out’ by the Portland Mercury. Her comedy has been featured on Huffington Post and Ellen, and her underground comedy show One-Two Punch, run out of her own living room in Silverlake, had a spread in the LA Times. She is also a regular at the top shows and venues in Los Angeles, including the Improv, Comedy Store, Meltdown, Good Heroin, and literally any place somebody will put a microphone and give her some attention.

When this is all over, you'll need to go out. And also re-introduce yourself to your friends. asembl makes doing both better. Check it out for all the best things going on and the easiest way to gather a group to do those things with.
