Share on social:

Clubs are closed. So are theaters. But that doesn't mean you can't go to a live comedy show. Just online. Like this one.

Join us on Wednesday, July 22 at at 9 o'clock  (Eastern)(add it to your calendar here). We're pumped to have comedians Renee Gauthier, Rachel Joan & Neil Rubenstein.

Here's the main page for the series where you can check out upcoming and past shows.

Or follow us on social media for the same:

Here's how it works:

  • Hit the "Join the interactive show" button or the "Join the livestream on YouTube" button (though that's much less fun) below at 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22 to join.
  • Turn on your microphone and/or camera so we can hear everybody laugh and feel together (also: behave).
  • Our amazing comedians do 15 minute sets each.
  • You laugh a great deal.
  • Donate. We're not putting up a paywall since we want everyone to easily join but we'd appreciate your donating $5 (or more!). Everybody's gigs went poof so a bit of cash would be highly appreciated.

If that doesn't work for some weird reason, our PayPal account is: asembl@asemblco.com (paypal.com).

We also accept Venmo (venmo.com). Our account is @asembl

First, Neil Rubenstein.

Neil doesn’t do drugs. He’s never had a sip of alcohol. So it may come as a bit of a surprise when the Long Island comedian references past occupations like owning a brothel or running an illegal poker room. It’s a dynamic that makes Neil both incredibly interesting and incredibly funny – something that served him well when his role on a Spike TV show as a gambling expert introduced him to the world of stand-up comedy. Stand up was more than an outlet – it straightened out his life. His dedication and humor have earned him accolades including runner up in 2017 Long Island Laugh Off and the Main Event of The World Series of Comedy.

Then, Rachel Joan.

Rachel doesn't believe in equality, she thinks women are better than men. However, she dates both. Rachel jokes about harming herself and others. You can find her performing nightly at clubs and running shows in the East & West Village in NYC.
