Clubs are closed. So are theaters. But that doesn't mean you can't go to a live comedy show. Just online. It's standup, socially distanced.

Join us on Wednesday, July 29 at at 9 o'clock  (Eastern)(add it to your calendar here). We're pumped to have comedians Atsuko Okatsuka, Anna Bianco & Jessie Wayburn.

Here's the main page for the series where you can check out upcoming and past shows.

Or follow us on social media for the same:

Here's how it works:

  • Hit the "Join the interactive show" button or the "Join the livestream on YouTube" button (though that's much less fun) below at 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29 to join.
  • Turn on your microphone and/or camera so we can hear everybody laugh and feel together (also: behave).
  • Our amazing comedians do 15 minute sets each.
  • You laugh a great deal.
  • Donate. We're not putting up a paywall since we want everyone to easily join but we'd appreciate your donating $5 (or more!). Everybody's gigs went poof so a bit of cash would be highly appreciated.

First, Jessie Wayburn.

Jessie Wayburn has told jokes online on the Daniel Heiss show, Socially Distant Improv’s Late Night, and will be seen in The Vibe Tribe, a virtual improv team performing weekly on Socially Distant Improv’s channel at 8:30pm Wednesdays starting August 5th. In person before quar, she performed at Gotham Comedy Club, and before that moved from the Bay area, where she produced In Stitches, the yarn shop comedy show.

Then, Anna Bianco.

Anna used to perform in clubs all around the city, now her main virtue is Covid-19 antibodies.

And finally, Atsuko Okatsuka.

Atsuko hosts the hit live show and weekly podcast produced by Foreverdog Productions, "Let's Go Atsuko! A (woke) Japanese Game Show". It has been recommended as a show to watch by The New York Times, The AV Club, and Vulture to name a few, who described the show as a blend of "the physical silliness of Japanese game shows with the dry, matter-of-fact fatuities of Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me!" She was named a comedian to watch by Vulture in 2018 & in TimeOut Los Angeles in 2019, and just recently released her debut album with Comedy Dynamics entitled "But I Control Me."
